Ranthambore National Park is located near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. It is spread over an area of 392 sq km. along with its nearby sanctuaries like - the Kaila Devi Sanctuary and the Mansingh Sanctuary. The town is quaint, hilly and surprisingly green. The park is majorly known for its tigers and there are around 60 tigers. And Ranthambore is one of the best locations in India to spot the tigers in its natural habitat.
The park remains open from the months of October to June. October to April are considered the best time to visit Ranthambore to spot the tigers.
