Kasol, a small village in Himachal Pradesh situated along the banks of the river Parvati, is a tourist attraction that is rapidly gaining fame as a very popular hub for trekkers, backpackers, and nature lovers. It is located 30kms. from Bhuntan and 3.5Kms. from Manikaran. Commonly known as the Amsterdam of India, this quaint little village is resplendent in natural scenic beauty.
The two most famous treks of Malana and Kheerganga starts from Kasol. The treks are two of the few trekking zones in the country that are yet untouched by urbanization and commercialization. Kasol is called Mini Israel of India, due to high in-habitation of israelis in the region. Kheerganga is a delight for trekkers, with its panaromic skies and vast greenery it is one of the most popular tourist places in Himachal.
Another major tourist place is Manikaran Gurudwara which is pilgrim for Sikhs and Hindus is hardly minutes from Kasol. You can also take a holy dip in the hot water sping and also visit a temple nearby.
